Jon Christopher Banwart, M.D., MBA, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than two decades of experience specializing in hip and knee joint replacement and revision, including the use of robotic-assisted surgical techniques. He is committed to patient-centered care with a personalized approach that prioritizes each patient's goals, comfort, and long-term mobility.

Dr. Banwart earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship in joint replacement at the Kansas Joint Replacement Institute and a sports medicine fellowship in South Lake Tahoe, California. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Pittsburg State University.
In addition to his clinical knowledge, Dr. Banwart has served in leadership roles, including being a founding member of Ortho Four States and course chairman for the David A. McQueen Memorial Hip and Knee Conference. He has authored multiple publications and research presentations, with work published in The Journal of Arthroplasty and Spine.
