Northwest Health’s Wound Care Centers Recognize Nursing Staff During National Nurses Month
5/16/2022
This year, Northwest Health’s wound care centers celebrate National Nurses Month by honoring the vast contributions and positive impact of America’s nurses. We are proud to promote the value wound care nurses bring to health care.
Two years ago, the American Nurses Association (ANA) designated 2020 as the “Year of the Nurse” and pledged to recognize nurses for the entire month of May each year moving forward. This year, we join the ANA, World Health Organization (WHO) and many others in celebrating National Nurses Month and its theme “Nurses Make a Difference.”
The nurses at Northwest Health’s wound care centers make a difference in patients’ lives every day. They are health care advocates, trusted confidants and life changers. They are by our patients’ side for every step of their wound healing journeys.
Northwest Health’s wound care centers provide a comprehensive approach to wound healing. Wound care is essential to the health and well-being of patients with non-healing wounds, and wound care visits prevent an escalation of their disease. The team features clinicians with advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
