About
Bernard J. Canzoneri, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist, or perinatologist, in Northwest Arkansas. He is also board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) and a fellow of both ABOG and the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine (SMFM). Affiliated with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center of Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Canzoneri's clinic is located on the campus of Willow Creek Women’s Hospital.
He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, where he also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He completed a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.
Women with high risk factors often choose to seek consultation from or care by a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) sub-specialist because they are “at-risk” and considering becoming pregnant or because they are pregnant and “high-risk,” “complicated,” or otherwise worried about their pregnancy. Dr. Canzoneri is also accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine in obstetric ultrasound.
As the first board-certified perinatologist located in Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Canzoneri values his relationships with local obstetricians in order for at-risk women to receive the special care they need right here, close to home.
